Scandinavian chill out in Sweden!

What a great time I had, dudes!

Yeah, last week (23.-29.5.) me and Þórdís went to Sweden to meet all Scandinavian MCs and have a chill-out party together. Some kind of nice closing of our current term and a bit connection to the new one. We came to Stockholm, where lovely Swedish MC accomodated us in their great MC flat.

Chill out officially started on Friday, but we arrived earlier because of ScaLDS agenda team physical meeting. That one started on Thursday morning. I´m new agenda team responsible from Iceland (after Sandra) and Þórdís joined us as because it was raining outside and she couldn´t do siteseeing in the rain ... ( :-) kidding, actually I asked her to stay there for first half of the day because I thought it was an important thing for both of us to participate). ScaLDS meeting went really well and I am very happy with the people in new agenda team (Emanuel - S, Annika - F, Kreta - D and Lars Erik - N). We all are really active and have very good ideas so I strongly belive that ScaLDS will be a great conference !

But back to the chill out. So as I said, officially it started on Friday, when new ppl from ScaLDS meeting left and the rest of old MCs arrived (unfortunately noone from Finland could make it :-(
So there were chilling Norwegians (Lars Erik, JC and Ces), all Sweds (Amit, Ladi, Emma and Maria), all Danish ppl (Louise, Niels, Majken, Ren Bin and Stefan) and Icelanders (me and Þórdís).

We had great time together, spent by cooking food together, playing cards (7 and Poker, thanks for lessons Amit&JC), Nordic circle and country roll calls (where JC crushed brutally some cookies while doing yakki yakki), partying in a club downtown, spending the most funny and adrenalin increasing day in Amusement park (Grona Lund - zábavný part plný kolotočů, horských drah atd.), eating ice-cream and watching a movie (during which almost all of us immediately fell asleep .. ups), singing Finnish Eurovision song and of course having a lot of fun!!!

Unfortunately time was flying so fast and chill out was soon over. During Sunday Danish and Norwegian people left home and the only ones who didn´t were we, Icelanders and of course Swedes.

Me, Þórdís and Ladi did some siteseeing on Sunday afternoon and I have to say, I love this city. Stockholm is made out of lot of small island connected together by briges and harbours (a boat is part of public transport here). I loved it! And even more because we had almost all the time beautiful weather there. .... Yeah, and also we went to movies, watching X-man (last episod). That was also great ;-)

On Monday we said good-bye and left back home to Iceland. Kind a sad to leave such a great people! Just one bright ligh seeing here .. IC 2006 in Poland at the end of August, where I will meet some of Scandinavians. :-) Can´t wait to see them again.
