Cestovani po V.Britanii/Travelling around G.Britain

Pres Vanocni prazdniny jsem tyden cestovala s kamaradem Mikem po Anglii a Skotsku. Vanoce jsme stravili u jeho rodicu ve vesnici blizko Chestru a na Silvestra jsme byli v Manchestru u jeho znamych. Cestovali jsme vetsinou vlakem (1.tridou :D), a vzali jsme to od Londyna pres Malpas, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Durham, York az do Manchestru. Balicek obsahoval muzea, galerie, historicke mesta, okruzni obhlidky, hrady a mnohem vice, vcetne typickeho anglickeho apriloveho pocasi. Bohuzel dalsi pokusy o navstevu jinych mist, jako Stonehenge a Beamish byly nezdarile protoze bylo zavreno kvuli Vanocnim svatkum.

Uzila jsem si to, a mela jsem super dovolenou.

For a week over the Christmas holidays I was traveling with friend of mine, Mike, across the UK to see a bit of the country. We spend Christmas Eve and few more days as his parents place near Chester and on NYE we were in Manchester at his friends place. We traveled most of the times by train, first class :D and we took it from London to Malpas, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Durham, York up to Manchester. The package contained museums, galleries, historical places, castles, sightseeing and many more, including typical English "1st April" weather. Unfortunately attempts to visit Stonehenge and Beamish were unsuccessful thanks to closure over Christmas time.

I had a good time, enjoyed it a lot. Was a proper holiday again since summer 2006 when I was traveling around Iceland.
